Hello and welcome to the Web server for Prof George L. Wilcox's laboratory at the University of Minnesota. Officially part of the Departments of Pharmacology and Neuroscience, we are a multidisciplinary research team interested primarily in spinal nociception and analgesia, with emphasis on the following areas:

George is co-director of the Center for Neuroscientific Databases, a collaborative effort consisting of 20 faculty from various areas of biological and computer science.

We now have the Ion Channel Network (ICN) web content from the Centre for Mechanisms of Human Toxicity at the University of Leicester. This should provide much faster access for people on our side of the Atlantic. Clients in Europe should still use the original Ion Channel Network server.
